Lillian Jackson Braun passes away at the age of 97

Lillian Jackson Braun the mystery novelist of best selling books like Cat Who Went Into the Closet and others, died on June 4, 2011 in Landrum S.C.. She was 97.

The series began in 1966 with”The Cat Who Could Read Backwards”  and her conclusion in 2007 ” The Cat Who Had 60 Whiskers” made her a very popular author and well known.  She will be loved for her humor in sayings like “smelled a rat” or “said cheese’.
