a New Indian book about a Maine tribe

My Native American class will be done in just a couple of weeks. As I finish up my research paper on the Penobscot Tribe , I now have a book to donate to the library.   Our Indians were a very talented and brave group of people.   It amazes me when I hear that they had to grind their own corn to make cornmeal. The  steps that women had to do to  make  clothing from beaver skin or caribou hide.  I admire them for trying to save their lands and being so kind to us during the Revolutionary war.  May our Indians be blessed always.

The book I am bringing in tomorrow is “The Penobscot Dance of Resistance” : Tradion in the History of a People by: Pauleena MacDougall.
